About the Artist.
Amanda Roberts discovered her initial passion for costuming and crafting though the many DIY projects she did with her mother growing up. She found herself trying all different artistic media until she settled on studying photography. She went on to receive her BFA in Photography from the Savannah College of Art and Design.
After graduation she moved to Atlanta and established an event production company with fellow artist and partner Connor Murray. She spent the next few years crafting and constructing unique decorations to dress the events as well as creating flier designs. At this time her passion for costuming was rekindled and she decided to return to school for some additional training.
She attended Carnegie Mellon University and earned her MFA in Costume Production from 2016-2019. Presently she continues to pursue her passions for historical fashion, alternative dress, and fantasy costuming.
